To lay down the procedure for cleaning of the pallets in warehouse.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for the procedure for cleaning of the pallets in warehouse at {Company Name} {Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- WH Executive/Designee – is responsible for ensuring compliance with the SOP.
- Head Warehouse – is responsible for compliance of the SOP.
- ACCOUNTABILITY:
QA Head shall be Accountable for implementation of SOP.
- PROCEDURE:
- The cleaning of pallets at dispensing area is as follows:
- The total surface of the pallets at dispensing areas shall be cleaned immediately after dispensing at their respective places by using vacuum cleaner.
- Dry mop followed by wet mop (purified water) with clean lint free clothes.
- Finally wipe the entire surface with 70 % IPA wet lint free cloth and allow the air dry.
- The cleaning of pallets at raw and packing material storage areas are as follows:
- All the pallets shall be cleaned immediately after emptying the materials.
- Clean the total surface of pallet thoroughly by using vacuum cleaner.
- Dry mop the pallets followed by wet mop with purified water using clean lint free cloth.
- Finally wipe entire surface with 70 % IPA wet lint free cloth and allow to air dry.
