- OBJECTIVE:
- To lay down the procedure for cleaning of Laboratory oven.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for the cleaning of Laboratory oven at {Company Name} {Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- Officer/Executive/Designee Quality Control – Shall be responsible for cleaning the instrument as per SOP.
- Head/Designee Quality Control – Shall be responsible for ensuring compliance as per SOP.
- ACCOUNTABILITY:
QA Head shall be Accountable for implementation of SOP.
- PROCEDURE:
- Ensure that the power supply to the apparatus is switched OFF before the cleaning of the oven.
- Clean the outer surface of oven with dry lint free cloth.
- Ensure that the instrument is clean and free from dust.
