OPERATION OF WEIGHING BALANCE MAKE: METTLER TOLEDO (Model: AB265S/FACT)

  • PROCEDURE FOR THE OPERATION OF WEIGHING BALANCE:
  • Ensure that the instrument is clean from dust and if not clean with a soft clean brush.
  • Clean the weighing pan, glass draft and housing of balance using a damp cloth or mild standard cleaning agent.
  • Ensure the instrument connected to power supply for at least 60 minutes to warm up to operating temperature before the first weighing operation is carried out to achieve accurate Results.
  • Ensure balance spirit level exactly in the middle of the glass, for slight irregularities adjust the air bubble by two adjustable leveling feet in the surface of the weighing bench.
  • Remove any load from weighing pan, and press << On >> key briefly. The balance performs a display test. When zero is displayed, the balance is ready for operation.
  • Weighing:
  • For weighing, open the glass draft of the right side and place empty container or butter paper on the center of weighing pan then close the glass draft.
  • The weight is displayed, press tare key briefly “→ 0/T ←” add weighing sample to container or butter paper then press print button in the printer module.
  • Transfer the sample carefully from the container or butter paper, the tare weight shown as a negative value.
  • Replace the transferred container or butter paper carefully on weighing pan close the glass draft.
  • Then press the print button in the printer module.
  • Take the final difference of weights by pressing “Clear” on printer keyboard.
  • Press and hold the << Off >> key down until “OFF” appears in the display.
  • Release the key to switching off the balance.
