- PROCEDURE:
- The left over samples after completion of complete analysis, (including Raw Materials, In- process products, finished products, and Packing Materials) shall be destructed.
- After completion of the analysis the left over Raw materials, In-Process Powders, tablets, capsules, shall be collected in to double layered poly bag.
- Finished product samples like Capsules, Tablets shall be opened from the original blisters/Strips packs and only tablets, capsules to be destroyed shall be collected in to a double layered poly bag and de-foiled blisters/ Strips shall be collected in another separate double layered poly bag.
- The collected left over samples/waste materials shall be dissolved in 4% sodium hypo chloride solution and kept for 48 hours.
- The executive quality control shall handover the above product waste (Material, Powder, and Tablets & Capsule) to SHE personnel.
- The SHE personnel dispose the samples as per the SOP
- The de-foiled Blisters/Strips are collected into polythene bag and send to scrap yard.
- The Packing materials like Cartons, Labels shall be destroyed by Cutting into pieces, collected in to polythene bag and send to scrap yard.
- The foils remained after analysis are collected and cut into pieces, collected into polythene Bag and sent to scrap yard.
- The sample preparation solutions, Stock solutions of standard preparation dissolution waste liquid, Particle size analysis solutions and HPLC drain out liquid shall be collected separate Container.
- The above collected left over solutions shall be mixed with 4% sodium hypo chloride solution and kept for 48 hours.
- After completion of detoxification of the solvents shall be sent to the SHE department for further disposable.
