MONITORING THE TEMPERATURE OF REFRIGERATOR

  • PROCEDURE:
  • Calibrated thermometer shall be kept in a glass vial containing liquid paraffin/ Glycerin and placed it in Refrigerator.
  • Temperature shall be recorded twice a day as per below mentioned times:
  • Morning: Between 9.00 and 10.00 hours (or as and when required).
  • Evening: Between 16.00 and 17.00 hours (or as and when required).
  • Record the observations in the format as per Format-I.
  • Temperature of the refrigerator shall be between 2° and 8°C.Verify the Minimum temperature and Maximum temperature on the Temperature record.
  • If the temperature found out of range, write down the reasons on the temperature record.
  • If any deviation found, inform to In-charge Quality control for necessary corrective action
