CLEANING OF INLINE CAPPER MACHINE

  • PROCEDURE FOR THE CLEANING OF INLINE CAPPER MACHINE:
  • An inline capper machine is an automated piece of equipment used on production lines to apply and tighten caps onto containers. They are designed to integrate seamlessly into a conveyor belt system, working continuously to cap containers as they move along the line.
  • After completion of the batch, update the status label as “TO BE CLEANED”.
  • Turn the control panel button to “OFF” position.
  • Put the mains “OFF” by turning to anti clockwise.
  • Remove the containers, tablets/capsules, drums and labels of previous product.
  • Clean any spilled material, dust on the floor and the exterior of the inline capper machine with vacuum cleaner and wipe the cover and exterior surface with dry lint free cloth.
  • Clean the belt, surface of the machine and all the parts with lint free cloth dipped in 70 % IPA.
  • Record the cleaning activity in the Equipment log book.
  • After completion of the batch, update the status label as “TO BE CLEANED”.
  • Turn the control panel button to “OFF” position.

  • Remove the containers, tablets/capsules, drums and labels of previous product.

  • Record the cleaning activity in the Equipment log book.
  • Before starting the next batch take the line clearance from IPQA executive.
  • Check strictly that the electrical supply to the machine is disconnected before starting the cleaning operation.
  • Frequency:
  • After every batch of the same or different product.
  • After every 6 days (if continuous production of the product) or Monthly (if machine is idle) whichever is earlier and as and when required.
