PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECK LIST OF AIR CURTAIN

Preventive maintenance of an air curtain involves regular checks and tasks to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively.

Here’s a checklist:

Maintenance records: Keep a record of maintenance activities to track the air curtain’s performance and plan future maintenance.

Filter cleaning/replacement: Clean or replace filters every 3 months, depending on usage and environmental conditions.

Motor and fan inspection: Check for signs of wear, misalignment, or damage. Lubricate moving parts if necessary.

Electrical connections: Verify secure connections and inspect for signs of wear or damage.

Airflow direction: Ensure the air curtain is blowing air downwards to prevent heat transfer.

Noise checks: Listen for unusual sounds indicating potential issues.

Visual inspection: Look for signs of wear, rust, or damage on the exterior and interior.

Control system checks: Verify the control system is functioning correctly, including thermostats, sensors, and timers.

  1Switch OFF the air curtain incoming power supply.Switch OFF the air curtain incoming power supply and remove the plug top from the socket.  
  2  Clean the blowers.Open the front grill screws and remove the grill. Clean the blowers by using hand blower and dry cloths.  
  3Check the blower grill for any damages.By physical and visual inspection. If found any damages replace the same with new one.  
  4Check blower motor earthing tightness.Ensure tightness by physical verification. If found any loose connections tighten the same properly.  
  5  Check the blower movement.By using hand, rotate the blower, It should be free. Apply the lube oil through nipple if necessary. Close the front grill and tighten the front grill screws.  
6Clean the air curtain inside and outside.By using dry cloths.  
  7Check the air curtain auto ON/OFF function wiring for any loose connections.By physical verification and using proper tools. If found any loose connections tighten the same. 
8Switch ON the air curtain incoming power supply.Insert the plug top and switch ON the air curtain incoming power supply.
9Check the direction of air flow.Ensure by adjust the airflow direction as required.
  10Check the air curtain auto ON/OFF function during open/close the door.Ensure the auto ON/OFF function by open/close the door. If any deviations found, rectify the same.
