OPERATION OF DEHUMDIFIER

• PROCEDURE:
• STARTING PROCEDURE :
• Ensure that AHU runs before Switching ON Dehumidifier.
• Operate the AHU as per the SOP.
• Ensure that Process air & Reactivation air Dampers of the dehumidifier are in open condition.
• Ensure the Inlet Valve and Outlet Valve of Steam Coil are in open Condition, and Bypass valve is in closed position.
• Ensure that Steam Pressure is of 6±1kg/cm2.Switch ON the main MCB.
• Select the Auto mode to operate automatically and Manual mode to operate the system in manual mode.
• Ensure the set parameters of the dehumidifier shall yield desired Rh.
• Switch ON the ON/OFF switch.
• Ensure the set parameters of dehumidifier Safety thermostat should be 160°C, cool down thermostat should be 70°C and operation thermostat should be in the range of 100°C -140°C.If Dehumidifier runs continuously run, put ‘RC’, in ON time of log sheet.
•  STOPPING PROCEDURE:
• Switch OFF the ON/OFF switch.
• Switch OFF the MCB.
• Close the process air and reactivate air dampers after switching off the dehumidifier.
• If the Dehumidifier runs continuously, put ‘RC’ in OFF time Column of log sheet.
• Whenever performed preventive maintenance activity and filter cleaning activity the same shall be recorded in the remarks column of Annexure-I.
