- OBJECTIVE:
To lay down a procedure for cleaning of factory footwear.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for cleaning of factory footwear at {Company Name} {Company Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- HR Officer shall be responsible for follow the instruction as per procedure.
- HR Manager/Designee shall be responsible for review, technical correction, Training & monitoring of SOP.
- QA Manager shall be responsible for approval of SOP.
- ACCOUNTABILITY:
QA Manager and HR Manager shall be accountable for the implementation and compliance of SOP.
- PROCEDURE:
- Wear proper (Shoes, Mask, Cap, Gloves) when handling the used footwear.
- Collect all used footwear in poly bags from respective change rooms and transfer to designated washing area.
- Wash the footwear with raw water.
- Prepare teepol solution using (25 ml teepol in 975 ml) for footwear cleaning.
- Clean all footwear one by one in prepared teepol solution and scrub with clean nylon scrubber.
- Rinse footwear thoroughly with RO water.
- Prepare disinfectant solution and disinfect the footwear.
- Keep the footwear in wash area for drying.
- Cleaned footwear shall be collected in poly bag and arranged properly in shoe racks in the respective area.
- Clean the footwear once in a week or as and when required.
- Cleaning record of footwear shall be maintained as per format as per Annexure-I.
