- OBJECTIVE:
- To lay down a procedure for Cleaning of Fogger.
- SCOPE:
- This SOP is applicable to the procedure for Cleaning of Fogger at {Company Name} {Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- Officer/Executive/Designee (QC) Micro. – Shall be responsible to perform the cleaning activity as per SOP.
- Head/Designee Quality Control – Shall be responsible for ensuring compliance as per SOP.
- ACCOUNTABILITY:
- QA Head shall be Accountable for implementation of SOP.
- PROCEDURE:
- Fogging machine: a fogger usually refers to a fogging machine. This machine disperses a fine mist, or fog, of disinfectant or other chemicals into the air.
- Cleaning:
- Fog out 500 ml of plain water after every use to clean the internal tubing’s.
- Never tamper with the nozzle; it may leads to permanent damage.
- Before cleaning, ensure the power supply is “OFF”.
- Clean the external surface with dry cloth, after completion of fogging.
