  • OBJECTIVE:
  • To lay down a procedure for Cleaning of Laboratory oven Model: BGP-9140A.
  • SCOPE:
  • This SOP is applicable to the procedure for Cleaning of Laboratory oven used in the microbiology lab at {Company Name} {Location}.
  • RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Officer/Executive/Designee (QC) Micro. – Shall be responsible to perform the cleaning activity as per SOP.
  • Head/Designee Quality Control – Shall be responsible for ensuring compliance as per SOP.
  • ACCOUNTABILITY:
  • QA Head shall be Accountable for implementation of SOP.
  • PROCEDURE:
  • LABORATORY OVEN: An HBio laboratory oven is a piece of equipment used for drying, baking, or sterilizing samples at a controlled temperature.
  • Cleaning:
  • Make: HBio
  • Before cleaning, ensure the power supply is “OFF”.
  • Clean the instrument by using lint free cloth soaked in 70% IPA. Before cleaning, ensure the power supply is “OFF”.
