- OBJECTIVE:
To lay down a procedure for operation of 2000 KVA Transformer.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for operation of 2000 KVA Transformer at {Company Name} {Company Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- Technical Assistant – Engineering is responsible to operate the equipment as per the SOP.
- Head Engineering / In charge – is responsible to ensure the compliance as per the SOP.

- PROCEDURE:
- Ensure the HT outgoing VCB should be in open condition at the HT panel.
- Check and ensure the oil level in the Transformer and OLTC up to the mark.
- Ensure all radiator valves are in open position.
- Check and ensure for no oil leakages at all the gaskets.
- Check and ensure the silica gel colour in the breather for sky blue and oil level in the bottom cup up to the mark.
- Check and ensure for no tools laying on the transformer.
- Check and ensure transformer for proper neutral & body earthing.
- Check and reset if any alarms in the RTCC panel.
- Release the emergency push button at OLTC panel.
- Close the HT outgoing VCB at the HT panel and observe the LT voltages at the PCC panel.
