- PROCEDURE:
- EQUIPMENT: INFRARED THERMO METER
- MAKE: FLUKE
- Check the cleanness of instrument before using.
- Check the Battery charging Life (Replace the battery if it shows blink).
- Open the outer cover and set the temperature reading in ˚C.
- Press and hold the trigger by focusing the laser beam on the articles like media (agar & broth) constantly up to 3-5 seconds which needs to be monitored the temperature.
- Temperature will display on thermometer screen.
- Observe Max and display reading of temperature.
- After checking the temperatures clean the instrument outer surface and kept their designated place.
- Note: When any media used for pour plate method, ensure the temperature between 40-45°C before pouring.
