- A Lifting and Positioning Device (LPD) is an industrial tool designed to elevate and movement of various containers or bins within a manufacturing facility. These devices are particularly useful for handling heavy, bulky, or difficult containers, promoting safety and efficiency. These are use to place heavy container of blend on the hopper of compression machine.
- Lifting and Positioning Device Elevate:
- Ensure that the LPD is at the lowered position with the glowing control on indicator.
- Unlock the LPD arm. Load the IPC containing sifted materials into the lifting and positioning device and lock the LPD arm.
- Press the “UP” push button on the control panel. The LPD will raise the IPC to the desired height.
- Release the “UP” push button. Swing the loaded LPD with the help of handle given in column pillar and adjust to desired position and press the paddle lock.
- Then open the discharge port of IPC and unload the material into the RMG/Compression machine hopper or wherever applicable.
- Lifting and Positioning Device Lower:
- Ensure that the IPC is unloaded completely.
- Then close the discharge port of IPC.
- Open the bellow affixed to the discharge port if any.
- Unlock the paddle lock and swing the empty LPD with the help of handle given in column pillar and adjust to desired position.
- Press the “DOWN” push button when LPD moves down completely.
- Release the “DOWN” push button.
- After completion, unlock the IPC form LPD arms and move out the IPC from LPD arms.
- In case of emergency press the ‘EMERGENCY’ push button during operation, Lifting and Positioning Device will stop.
- Any fault condition should be rectified before system operation is continued.
- After rectification, release the ‘EMERGENCY’ push button.
- Note: lifting and positioning device is only for material movement.
