Wear gloves, nose masks and safety goggles before starting the activity.
Transfer the required quantity of original disinfectant in a washed and dried glass beaker.
Collect the required quantity of purified water in a sterilized/sanitized container.
Mix the original disinfectant with purified water to obtain the specified concentration of disinfectant solution as mentioned in the following table.(For One liter solution )

Arrange the filtration assembly with 0.2 micron membrane filter.
Filter the disinfectant by passing through the membrane filter and collect it in a clean, dried and Sterilized/sanitized container.
Transfer the required quantity of filtered disinfectant solution in a stainless steel container which has been Sterilized/sanitized previously.
Use the filtered disinfectant solution for routine cleaning and sanitization of Microbiology Laboratory on weekly rotation basis.
Enter the details of preparation in Disinfectant solution preparation record (Format-I).
Frequency: Once in a week or whenever required.
