INTRODUCTION:

    Quality Risk Management is a systematic process for assessment, control, communication and review of risks associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment throughout their lifecycle.

    Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a structured risk management tool used to identify potential failure modes, evaluate their effects and establish suitable preventive and corrective controls.

    The Wet Mill is a critical equipment used in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) pharmaceutical manufacturing, generally after wet granulation and before drying, depending on the approved manufacturing process.

    The wet milling operation is performed to reduce wet granule size and obtain a controlled and reproducible granule size distribution suitable for subsequent drying and downstream processing.
