OPERATION OF COOLING TOWER

• PROCEDURE:

•  PRECAUTIONS:
• Check the cooling tower water level which should be above half level, if needed fill with water.
• Ensure that the suction and delivery valves of cooling water pump are open.
• Check the Main power supply is available.
• Check for any abnormal noise in the fan, motor, drive shaft and  gear reducer.  
• STARTING PROCEDURE:
• Switch on the input power supply of the cooling tower pumps.
• Start the cooling tower pumps.
• Start the cooling tower fans.
• Record readings as per enclosed Annexure-I.
• STOPPING PROCEDURE:
• Switch off the Cooling tower pumps.
• Switch off the cooling tower fans.
• Record readings as per enclosed Annexure-I.
