- OBJECTIVE:
To lay down a procedure for operating of Air Shower.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for operating of Air Shower at {Company Name} {Company Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- Engineering Personnel is responsible for the operation of Air Shower.
- Engineering Head / Designee is responsible for Compliance of SOP.

- PROCEDURE:
- PRECAUTION
- Make sure that the operating personnel are wearing all the personal protective equipment & gowned properly.
- Ensure that no powder is accumulated on PPE before exiting from the Air Shower.
- ENTRY PROCEDURE
- Wear the secondary gowning in the Change Room.
- Press the Push Button, display shows GO then enter in to the Air Shower.
- When door 1 is Open door 2 will be in closed conditionally.
- Press the Emergency button to open the door 2 and enter into the Filter Cleaning Area
- EXIT PROCEDURE
- Press the Push Button of door 2 display shows GO then enter into the Air Shower.
- When both doors get locked, after 5 seconds Blower starts automatically and runs up to the set time 40 sec.
- After completion of the time cycle for air wash, the blower stops automatically,When the blower stop, after 5 seconds door 1 will open.
- Exit from the Air Shower.
- Remove the secondary gowning from the air lock room.
