- OBJECTIVE:
To lay down a procedure for replacement of Vent Filters in Purified water system.
- SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable for replacement of Vent Filters in Purified water system at {Company Name} {Company Location}.
- RESPONSIBILITY:
- Technical Assistant – Engineering is responsible to perform the activity as per the SOP.
- Manager / Executive – Engineering shall ensure compliance as per SOP.
- ACCOUNTABILITY:

- PROCEDURE:
- Disconnect the Purified water storage tank Electric Vent Filter power supply.
- Drain the water from tank drain valve.
- Open the filter housing and remove the filter assembly.
- Clean the filter housing with purified water.
- Ensure that the correct specified filter is getting replaced at the time of replacement.
- Fix the (0.2 µ) new filter element in the housing.
- Fix the housing on the tanks.Collect the water in purified water into the tank.
- Switch ‘ON’ the pump and check the working pressure of the line.Enter the Vent filter (0.2 µ) replacement details as per Annexure-II
- After the completion of the filter replacement, Vent filter replacement report shall be updated as per Annexure-I.
